You will have access to our entire post-hair transplant aftercare program and professional counseling once your hair transplant treatment is over and you leave our facility.
It may take up to 2-3 months for your new follicles to fully absorb and begin to develop new hair after this stage.
Although your new hair growth may be harsh, like in the fue hair transplant pictures and uneven at first, you will soon have the new head of hair you deserve.
Things to avoid after transplantation:
Driving
Hair restoration gets done with a lot of sedation as fue hair transplant pictures.
Do not drive for the following 24 hours if you have been given a sedative.
Sleeping in a Room
For the first seven days following treatment, you must sleep with your head raised to reduce the chance of swelling.
Some people require a few days of sleeping with their heads raised.
Keep in mind that not everyone who has hair implants develops swelling.
If you don't feel any pressure around your forehead, there's no reason you can't sleep.
Although it isn't ideal, some individuals find that sleeping in their recliners is significantly more pleasant than resting on four pillows.
Maintain a 45-degree elevation in your head.
Choosing to Ignore Your Labels
Disregard the labels on your prescription and over-the-counter drugs after your hair transplant treatment is one of the worst things you can do.
Antibiotics should get used as directed to reduce the risk of infection.
You should not drive if the warning label states that you should not operate heavy equipment or machinery after taking prescription analgesics.
You should also make sure you're not taking too much medicine of any kind.
Finally, if the label specifies, take your prescription with a meal.
Pain relievers might induce gastrointestinal upset by taking some drugs on an empty stomach.
Ignoring the Ice
Rest, ice, compression, and elevation are the most effective ways to manage swelling injuries.
If you have any swelling, we highly advise you to use ice for 20 to 30 minutes right above your brows.
It is also the best preventive measure.
If you don't have any swelling, you should perform this three to four days after your hair restoration.
You could even discover that ice is all you need to relieve any overall discomfort.
Showering or Scrubbing Your Hair
Do not wash your hair for the first 48 hours following your hair transplant process.
During the fifth day following treatment, avoid over-washing your hair.
Also, avoid directing the stream straight onto your scalp.
Instead, rinse the shampoo out of your hair using a cup.
You can apply a conditioner to your scalp gently if you have itching.
Changing Your Hair Color
You should not dye your hair within four weeks of having it restored.
If you don't think you'll be able to go four weeks without dyeing your hair, do it just before your treatment.
Hair color has no harmful side effects when used just before a hair transplant process, but the harsh chemicals included in hair dye can affect the transplanted follicles' success.
The transplanted follicles are fragile for several weeks following transplantation.
They require all of the assistance they can get.
